Micropigmentation offers a non-invasive way to correct scars
How can micropigmentation help me?
Micropigmentation offers a way to hide hair transplant graft scars by replicating the appearance of hair regardless of whether you have short or long hair. There’s no invasive surgery, no scarring and no down time.
By literally simulating the appearance of hair, micropigmentation can help camouflage scars. For many cosmetic tattooing is the only longterm answer.
Micropigmentation is an effective solution for patients with strip follicular unit transplant donor scars or hair transplant graft scars in order to help camouflage the scar.
How's it done?
The SMP technique requires strategic placement of tiny dots in the same way and growth pattern in which the client’s hair grows naturally, in order to keep the ‘effect’ the same. Pigment matched to the hair colour is implanted under the skin and the dots are placed on the scar tissue with a digital state-of-the-art hand piece.
With our technique results are long lasting and trauma is kept to a minimum. Scars can be camouflaged by reducing the contrast between the scar area and the surrounding skin with hair. Once the treatment is complete you will be asked to come back in four weeks to see if the treatment needs to be enhanced, further.
Does it look natural?
The finished results are very convincing and will appear very natural. Your friends will never know what the difference is unless you choose to tell them. These treatments offer a major breakthrough in permanent cosmetics.
Renée’s creative expertise and up-to date knowledge of pigment implantation will always result in a natural and realistic enhancement.
Is it painful?
It hurts less than having a regular tattoo, and certainly a lot less than a hair transplant. Scalp micropigmentation doesn’t penetrate the skin as deeply as normal tattooing. Most clients feel very little discomfort or none at all.
Is it safe?
An in-depth consultation will be carried out before any treatment.
The procedure is both safe and medically approved when carried out by a competent technician. Renée has undertaken rigorous training in all aspects of the preparation and application of micropigmentation.
The products used at The Dermatography Clinic have a history of long-term use. Developed in Europe by the leading manufacturers of digital machines and permanent make-up consumables, our pigments are of the purest quality and carry a certificate to verify hygiene and pharmaceutical grade.
